Go back to the dealer and tell them the ACTIS solution number is 87359

I despise incompetence.

You are not the only one to of experienced Renault dealerships not being aware of the solution.

Nice one 👍.

It apparently takes approximately 1 hour to do. Owners are reporting that the software update has resolved the problem.

Renault claim any vehicle built after the 23 August will already have the updated software.

I’ve been watching this issue closely as my vehicle is due late December and was hoping a fix had been found, which now appears to be the case. Happy days 😀

Just booked mine in for them to have a look at it, however, they didn't know anything about the issue or software update when talking to them on the phone, they did do a quick check on the phone to see if it is outstanding any product related issues which came back clear. just hope they can sort it out. All these work arounds isn't very good for my mental health!

Well the car has gone in now for the update.they were not interested in the solution made stupid comment about chinese whispers on the net. Makes you laugh. Also asked them to look at why phone does not ring through car speakers. Well they said no time need to book in again 🙄

Car been.in nothing sorted..they say the number i gave them.does not apply to.my car . They said speak to renault uk. Idiots I think 🤔

Hello, first post here.

I currently have an MG 4 Trophy LR on lease and am looking around at what I might replace it with next year. Scenic, on paper at least, is top of the list.

The two things I want that the 4 doesn't give me are a higher seat position and a bigger boot. Also, I have not yet found a lead that will connect my phone to the MG's Android Auto.

The Scenic's Google-based system appeals.

Anyway, I digress...the reason I wanted to post here is because I have Octopus Go and an Ohme Home Pro and used to charge the MG religiously from 23.30 to 5.30 every day.

Then I got a message from Octopus saying to remove the charging cap and make a couple of other tweaks and now Octopus chooses to charge the car whenever there is spare capacity for them to do so. This can be at any time of the day.

This has always worked without fail. Except when the idiot (me) forgets to set the car charging on the Ohme app....

I came here basically because I wanted to be sure our wall box would be compatible with the Scenic. I guess new cars now have put this issue behind them.

But already I am put off big time by Renault's attitude to customer service:

gee46 is right...the dealer should be bending over backwards to help and contacting HO on their behalf, not asking them to do it. What the heck?

Has anyone got the update yet my dealership isn't cooperating to well at the moment thay arnt even admiting the update exists

I only got my Scenic before Christmas with Ohme charger. I set the charge time on the car. However it started charging once I plugged it in. I found out that I had to press the button beside the lock button to stop charging. The timer then worked. I haven’t tried charging through Ohme. I still can’t get the car linked to the Renault app.

My dealer is the same do not omit to any update. They even mock the face book entry by renault them selves
